I highly recommend taking this training and Passing the EPA Section 608 Technician Certification exam. NCCER does not directly administer the EPA Section 608 Technician Certification exam (required under the Clean Air Act for handling refrigerants in stationary HVAC/R equipment). However, they offer dedicated preparation materials to help you study and practice for the official EPA-approved test, which must be proctored through organizations like ESCO Institute, Mainstream Engineering, or others.

Primary NCCER Resource: EPA 608 Exam Preparation (Online Practice Tests)

The best option in High Schools is to get Simulator Training Certification along with passing the online knowledge modules.

The Laws and Regulations does not allow the hands on training of 16 and 17 year old on Heavy Equipment.
