All items below must be completed, I will walk you thru the process and help you on every step of the journey. The benefits for the School and Student are worth the effort.

1. Board Has approved the NCCER Certification Program and it’s Curriculum

  • Signature Form for Board President
  • Signature form for the MOU (NCCER Memorandom of Understanding)

2. Superintendent Has Approved the NCCER Certification Program and it’s Curriculum

  • Signature form for Letter of Intent
  • Signature form for the MOU (NCCER Memorandom of Understanding)
  • Signature form designating Principle at the High School that is implementing the NCCER Certification Program

3. Principle has Approved the NCCER Certification Program and the NCCER Curriculum

  • Signature form for the MOU (NCCER Memorandom of Understanding)
  • Signature form for Assigning/Approving Craft Instructors over the NCCER Certification Program and it’s Curriculum

4. Craft Instructor for the High School NCCER Certification Program and the NCCER curriculum

  • 702 Signature form for Craft Instructor
  • Release of Records, Signature Form
  • Resume showing Craft Background and Training
  • Responsible for facitating Student Signup for the NCCER Certification Training Program and having Craft Students Sign the Releases of Information Forms
  • Student must Sigh Up on the NCCER National Registry to establish their Trade Registry Transcripts.
  • Students must Sign a release of Record form allowing Test Scores to be shared with NCCER and establish the students National Transcript
  • Signing up Regional Partners who are committing their support to the High School NCCER Certification Program and its’s Curriculum.
  • Certification training of your assigned Craft Instructor
  • Provide Books and Curriculum for the approved NCCER local program
  • Provide the cost of student testing for NCCER online tests
  • Provide other services as outlined in the MOU
  • Schools responsibilities is outlined in the MOU
  • What is excluded and must be provided by the School District is the Salary for the Craft Instructor as a normal Staff member of the District.
  • As sponsor, I will provide assistance in getting State approval thru the Construction Pathway program
  • I can also give assistance by providing Student course descriptions to the counselors for student enrollment handbook
  • Online course training for students is also available for use by the Craft Instructor if needed.
  • Heavy Equipment training and certification available for Skid Loader, Rough Terrain Forklift, Scissor Lift and Backhoe/Telehandler. Local Craft Instructors will be trained and certified to support these efforts. Local Construction Companies will provide the NCCER Performance Evaluation on students skills with equipment.
  • If the school district needs some of these member to serve on their School Advisory committee, they will be involved and willing to serve as needed.
